Hi From Ontario

Hi all, I joined this support group to network with others and to learn more about Epilepsy. My 10 year old niece was recently diagnosed with Epilepsy. She seemingly 'woke up with it' one day. Literally she had her first seizure 10 minutes after she woke up. That was October and since then she has been diagnosed with having petit mal seizures but she also has tonic clonics. I would really like to know what I can do to support my sister, my niece and my nephew (who is having a very hard time and doesn't want to live at his house any more because he is afraid to see his sister's seizures)

Hi, I read your post and where does your family live in Ontario? You don't have to be specific but I can recommend 2 agencies, 1 is in Hamilton and the other in Thorold.
