Hello Everyone,
I have just joined TESG, seeking support for myself. I have had epilepsy since I was 18 yrs. old. I did not have any brain trauma; so the answer is still unknow why I had developed seizures. For ten years I took Tegretol and for the past 12 years I have been taking Trileptal.
Fortunately I have been blessed with no seizures with these meds. I think I am having other issues with these meds. I am having a difficult time trying to make a decision on if I should try another medication, and if it were to make any difference for the side effects I think I am having.
Has anyone changed medications, because of side effects and did it work for you?
